Erin Conroyer
M.S., CCC-SLP
Erin is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of experience helping individuals enhance their communication skills and confidence. Her passion for accent modification began during her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, where she supported professors and graduate teaching assistants using Technology Enhanced Accent Modification software.
During graduate school and her post-graduate career in Chicago, Erin worked with business and healthcare professionals to help them communicate more effectively and feel better understood in the workplace. She finds it deeply rewarding to see her clients break barriers, embrace their linguistic identity, and confidently access a Standard American English accent when they choose to.
In addition to her work in accent modification, Erin’s clinical expertise extends to pediatrics. Her pediatric specialties include speech sound and phonological disorders, early intervention for receptive and expressive language development, and literacy. She has provided services across diverse settings, including public and private schools, First Steps early intervention, and outpatient clinics. Erin believes in “meeting the child where they are” and blends child-led and clinician-directed play to make therapy both effective and engaging. She partners closely with families—educating, modeling, and empowering them to carry over strategies from the clinic to the home environment.
